Global crude oil price of Indian Basket declines marginally to 103.79 per bbl on 20.3.2014

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 103.79 per barrel (bbl) on 20.03.2014. This was marginally lower than the price of US$ 104.20 per bbl on previous trading day of 19.03.2014

In rupee terms, price of Indian Basket fell to Rs 6344.68 per bbl on 20.03.2014 as compared to Rs 6366.62 per bbl on 19.03.2014. This was due to fell in price in dollar terms rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.13 per US$ on 20.03.2014 as against Rs 61.10 per US$ on previous trading of 19.03.2014.
