The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 105.46 per barrel (bbl) on 10.03.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.81 per bbl on previous trading day of 7.03.2014
In rupee terms, on the contrary bucked the trend due to weaker rupee as the price of Indian Basket increased a fraction to Rs 6454.15 per bbl on 10.03.2014 as compared to Rs 6453.35 per bbl on 07.03.2014. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.20 per US$ on 10.03.2014 as against Rs 60.99 per US dollar on previous trading of 07.03.2014.
