New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) Delhi Police Thursday chased and arrested a robber when he with his two associates entered the national capital after robbing at gun point a Haryana businessman of Rs.6 lakh, a police official said.
Parveen and his two associates robbed Sonu, a poultry farm owner, in Haryana's Sonepat district, around 12 p.m. and fled on a motorcycle towards the Singhu border with Delhi.
"As soon as the accused entered the capital and took a turn towards the Narela area, police were alerted. After a chase of about 18 km, Parveen was arrested near Bakhtawarpur village. However, his associates managed to flee," a police official said.
